Overview
The Committee Chair leads the troop committee, which handles the administrative, financial, and logistical support that makes the troop run. The CC is the Scoutmaster's peer, not their supervisor — they have different lanes. The CC owns the committee lane.
Responsibilities
- 1Run monthly committee meetings
- 2Recruit, organize, and support committee members
- 3Oversee troop finances and budget approval
- 4Ensure recharter is completed annually
- 5Handle parent concerns and troop administration
- 6Serve as liaison to the Chartered Organization
- 7Approve Board of Review results
