Overview

The Outdoor Activities Chair owns the troop's camping calendar — finding locations, making reservations, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the right permits and permissions are in place. They work with the Scoutmaster on program integration.

Responsibilities

  • 1Research and reserve campout sites for the program year
  • 2Coordinate transportation, permits, and park reservations
  • 3Manage campout sign-ups and headcount tracking
  • 4Assist with high adventure trip planning and applications
  • 5Ensure Leave No Trace compliance at all events

Time Commitment

2–4 hours/week during planning periods
