Overview
The Outdoor Activities Chair owns the troop's camping calendar — finding locations, making reservations, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the right permits and permissions are in place. They work with the Scoutmaster on program integration.
Responsibilities
- 1Research and reserve campout sites for the program year
- 2Coordinate transportation, permits, and park reservations
- 3Manage campout sign-ups and headcount tracking
- 4Assist with high adventure trip planning and applications
- 5Ensure Leave No Trace compliance at all events
Time Commitment
2–4 hours/week during planning periods
