Chaplain Aide
Supports the troop's spiritual dimension and Scout spirit.
Overview
The Chaplain Aide supports the troop's commitment to "Duty to God" and promotes Scout spirit. They lead the Scout Oath at the start of meetings, offer brief reflections at campouts, and check in on scouts who may be struggling.
Responsibilities
- 1Lead the Scout Oath and Law at troop meetings
- 2Offer nondenominational reflections at campfires or grace at meals
- 3Be available to scouts who want to talk or are going through a hard time
- 4Assist with religious emblems information when asked
- 5Help coordinate Scouts' Own services on campouts
