Who Carries the Heavy Pack
After a Hard CampoutSummer Camp
On a hard hike, the best leader isn't the one who finishes first and waits at the top complaining about the pace. It's the one who notices who's struggling and walks next to them instead — sometimes even takes some of their weight without being asked. Real leadership in this troop looks less like being out front and more like making sure the slowest person in your patrol still feels like they belong. Remember who you walked next to today.
