The SPL Who Asked for Help
Any Meeting
Your Senior Patrol Leader came to me this week and admitted he wasn't sure how to handle something in his patrol. That took more strength than pretending he had it all figured out. The leaders who last, in Scouting and everywhere else, aren't the ones who never need help. They're the ones secure enough to ask for it. Don't mistake asking for help for weakness — in the right leader, it's one of the clearest signs of strength.
