Why We Vote in Patrol
Any Meeting
When your patrol votes on where to camp or what to cook, sometimes you win and sometimes you don't. That's citizenship in miniature — being part of a group where you don't always get your way, and accepting the outcome anyway because the process was fair. The skills you're practicing in your patrol right now are the same ones that make a town, a state, or a country actually work. Pay attention to how it feels to lose a vote gracefully. You'll need that skill your whole life.
