The New Scout Who Asked a Question
New Scout WelcomeAny Meeting
A brand-new scout asked tonight why we do the flag ceremony the way we do, instead of just assuming it was just "how it's done." That question is a good thing, not a disruption. Good citizens ask why things work the way they do — they don't just go along with tradition blindly, and they don't dismiss it either. They understand it, and then they decide for themselves whether it's worth keeping. Keep asking those questions.
