The Eagle Project That Took Longer Than Planned

This project didn't go according to the original plan. Permits took longer than expected. Volunteers canceled. The weather didn't cooperate on the day that mattered most. And yet, here we are, because this scout adjusted, asked for help, and kept pushing through every setback instead of walking away. That's a truer test of leadership than a project that goes perfectly ever could be. Eagle Scout isn't a reward for things going smoothly — it's a reward for what you do when they don't.
