I saw a scout stand at the edge of that climb today, clearly nervous, and go anyway. That's what courage actually looks like — not the absence of fear, but doing the thing anyway. Nobody who's good at anything started out unafraid. They started out scared and did it anyway, enough times that it got easier. Whatever you're standing at the edge of right now — a new rank, a leadership role, a hard conversation — that's the same climb. Go anyway.
