Doing It When No One Checks

Nobody was going to check whether that dish actually got washed all the way, or just rinsed and put away looking clean. One scout washed it properly anyway. That's the real test of character — not what you do when someone's checking, but what you do when you know they're not. Build the habit of doing it right even when no one's checking. It becomes who you are, not just what you do.
