Quick Start

  1. 1Add every scout to the Roster tab.
  2. 2Add this year's dues and event fees to the Events tab.
  3. 3Log each payment in the Payments tab — pick the scout and event from the dropdown menus.
  4. 4Open the Dues Summary tab any time to see who owes what.

How the Tabs Work Together

TabWhat it's for
RosterEvery scout in the troop — name, patrol, and parent contact. One row each.
EventsEvery fee your troop collects this year — separate Scout Fee and Adult Fee columns, since adults often cost less (or nothing, if they bring their own food).
PaymentsThe link between scouts and events. Pick a scout, event, and Payer Type from the dropdowns — Amount Due auto-fills the right rate, then log what was paid.
Dues SummaryAuto-calculated — total owed, total paid, and balance for every scout. Updates itself as you log payments.
AdultsNames for the Adult Name dropdown in Payments — add parent/leader names here.
Scout LookupPick a scout from the dropdown to see every payment row for just that scout.
Fundraising CreditEvery fundraiser payout a scout earns — automatically reduces what they owe overall, not tied to one specific due.
Tip: list annual dues as its own row in the Events tab, right alongside campouts and summer camp — that way one Dues Summary tab shows the whole financial picture for every scout, not just event fees.
